To be honest, we are normally behind the scenes guys. Quietly enjoying our commissions, sipping on coconuts, staying in villas and more or less living by the motto 'out of sight, out of mind.' And whenever we did go public, we did it under someone else's name.
And that was fine, for awhile, but then we noticed that things began to change...
People started spreading disinformation about marketing. People started making it sound like succeeding as an author online was hard, that things like Facebook likes were important, that you need state-of-the-art technology and overcomplicated algorithms to make a good living selling your creations online. And if you one day got good enough you would cease being an artist and start being a disingenuous, out-to-getcha' internet marketer.
That stuff just isn't true.
And it's a shame, because it's things like this that defer great authors from learning the skills necessary to get their books into the mainstream and start influencing culture for the better.
Sure, there's a lot of charlatans out there. And sure there's a hundred different ways to skin this cat. But we aren't going to waste your time with anything less than what has been scientifically validated and proven to work for us.
Simple. We want you to win.
After all, that's why we created this manual—because we got sick of good art never seeing the light of day.
It is our mission is to empower individuals to reap the rewards of their creations, and overwhelmingly bridge the big gap there is between creators and marketing.
We reject the notion of the "starving" artist and encourage writers to spread their work and enrich the lives of others (and themselves) with effective, elegant, and powerful marketing methods that are 100% congruent with their values and preferred methods of self-expression.
And like Will Smith in Men in Black... it's our goal while we do this to "make this look good."
Okay, last movie reference *we promise.*
Now, down to brass tacks...
